The development sites of our engineering and research and development divisions are located in the Iwaki Plant in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, the Imaichi Plant and the FB Plant in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, and the Hoshikawa FB Building No. 2 in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. The Iwaki Development Center and the Innovation Laboratory in the Iwaki Plant are our key development sites.


Core technology development, product development of our main products including automobile batteries, industrial batteries, and power supply systems, and research and development of new products, next-generation batteries, and advanced technologies that are expected to grow into our core business take place at these sites.


Each site is located right next to a production plant and ready to accommodate customer needs.
